The Challenge

We’re thrilled with the completed playground for Linton-on-Ouse Village Hall. Our story with Maxine Forster and Linton-on-Ouse Parish Council started way back in 2008. Initial consultations took place between Maxine and the staff at Image Playgrounds. We discussed what village playground equipment they might like and chatted about how to best use the available space. Afterwards, we offered our design and quotation to the Parish Council.

It was then up to Maxine with her hard work and determination to raise the funding for the play area. She kept a level head throughout the fund raising process and did an incredible job. In 2010, the project was at a stage to begin finalising designs.

We presented new, innovative designs which were warmly received by the Parish Council. We included a wide range of exciting village playground equipment that children of all ages love. This included slides, log traverse, zip line swings, climbing equipment and an education activity platform.

Manufacturing of the play equipment took place in May 2010. A selection of the local children came on a visit to the factory as we worked. They were able to see the play equipment being carefully hand built by our team of experts. The children also met the design team responsible for the proposal. We love giving tours around our factory and showing children how much fun it is to design and make playgrounds every day! Installation took place in April 2010 and the new Linton-on-Ouse Village Hall play area has been a huge success. It’s a real social heart for the community. The local children all enjoy spending time with their friends and family on the village playground.
