Woodhouse Community Primary School

Karron Miller & Shirley Welsh from Woodhouse Primary School, along with the support of Geoff Dunnill at Durham County Council approached us with great enthusiasm for a new outdoor learning environment.

They had already taken advice from their school grounds development team, who highly recommended our services after seeing our previous work.

Rough draft ideas and plans had already been drawn up for the school and they were keen to get our highly skilled design team to turn the draft plans into a fully workable learning environment.

Matt, one of the designers took on the project and instantly brought life to the plans using the latest in 3D visualisation software. By creating an array of impressive 3D drawings, he captured every piece of equipment in detail. This allowed the staff involved to get a feel for the layout of the play space along with the scale of the items of equipment.

The staff involved and the council were so impressed with the work we were asked to complete a second phase to the play area two years later.
